The divinations and the images were created during periods of Venus retrograde in 2017 and 2020. The digital collages depicting Venus, other goddesses and divine feminine images integrated into the natural and imaginal worlds were created using Procreate on an iPad Pro. I would read the divination one or more times, letting it guide the visual art expression. These divinations are the voice of spirit coming through this particular writer, yet they have a universality that applies to all receptive minds, bodies and souls. I have been using divination decks for awhile now, and knew after a Facebook Live event with CREATE Institute and listening to Joanne talk about her process in creating the deck, that I had to get one.
My first impression was how amazingly smooth and silky the cards were- which is fabulous for easy shuffling and spreading. The images and descriptions are profound and my first reading was SPOT ON!
The cherry on top however, is the booklet provided with the deck. There were so many different options of using the deck- including partner practices and more! For anyone not sure if they will know how to use it, don’t worry the booklet will help!
